This pineapple is different from the rest, tiny spikes on the leaves (tiny spines on new leaves)
Meaning it can be planted where people can pass it by.
This variety was grown commercially in Brisbane in the1970s.
 
Large beautiful tasting fruit. As this has been produced assexually from the parent plant, this will breed true, giving guaranteed lovely fruit.
This variety is frost sensitive, will grow in full sun with good mulch, or in a hothouse, or sunroom as a feature indoor plant.
