TROPICAL Guava -Sunset

The Sunset guava has elegant foliage, making the bust pretty in the garden, with large green and red leaves. Takes well to trimming and will fruit well if cared for. 
Prefers river loam or volcanic soils, but if planted on clay, best to mound with 0.5m of mulch, or compost , rather than digging a hole.  
For the largest fruit , side dress yearly with higher P and K type fertilisers. Eg Blood and bone. 
Fruit can be 3-4 times larger than the standard red or yellow guavas. 
Taste is sweet, with a high fruit to seed ratio, with the fruit inside a delightful orange to yellow colour.
